During January 14-15, the Workshop on Critical Infrastructure Protection took place at the University of Zilina (Slovakia) at the Faculty of Engineering. The chief of the department of fire and technogenic safety of objects and technologies of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine Yurii Kliuchka became the participant of the international workshop.
During the two-day meetings the Visegrad+ grant application was completed, where the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine is a participant along with the higher educational institutions of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. It should be noted that Visegrad+ Foundation is an international donor organization established in 2000 by the governments of the Visegrad countries - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia - for the implementation of regional cooperation in the Visegrad region between the other countries.
The preparation of an application for a NATO grant for critical infrastructure objects has been continued. In this direction, the subject of the grant application has been identified, the range of participants in the possible workshop has been expanded within the framework of the grant and agreement has been reached on the approval of the head of the grant application from Slovakia.
An agreement on the participation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the higher educational institution of the SES of Ukraine in the international scientific conference Wood & Fire Safety 2020 has also been reached, where one of the partners will be the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine. In addition, other areas of joint work with the adoption of necessary international agreements have been worked out.
