Rescuers from Zakarpattia continue their business partnership with Polish colleagues. Today, the regular international meeting in Uzhgorod took place within the framework of the project "Improvement of the Crisis Management and Crisis Management System in the Transcarpathian Region - Ukraine", which is being implemented by the IHHP Foundation and funded by the Polish Cooperation Development Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
Within the framework of the visit, Ukrainian rescuers, together with their Polish counterparts, will work on issues of joint interaction and cooperation on issues of assistance between countries in the event of various types of emergencies. And today, on November 16, a conference on this topic was held in one of the hotel and restaurant complexes of the regional center of Zakarpattia. The meeting was attended by: Deputy Head of the Zakarpattia Regional Council Petro Hrytsyk, Deputy Director of the Emergency Response Department of the SES of Ukraine Vasyl Snicar, and from the Polish side - adviser to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Barbara Mikhalovska, head of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation and the iHELP Institute and ex-deputy chairman State Fire Service of Poland Richard Grosset.

Then the participants of the international meeting visited the Department of the SESof Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region. Here in a solemn atmosphere, Polish colleagues handed over to Ukrainian rescuers two sets of a specialized hydraulic tool of the Weber brand. The cost of this equipment is more than 37 thousand euros.
In turn, Yaroslav Babyak, deputy head of the  Department of SES of Ukraine in Zakarpattia region, thanked the Polish friends for their support and assistance, as well as noticed that this equipment was extremely useful for Zakarpattia rescuers, as it would help the emergency officers to provide assistance to citizens more qualitatively and promptly, who got into an accident. He also stressed the relevance of the implementation of this international program, since saving lives and health of people is a priority area of the fire and rescue services of both countries.
